Introduction

This Privacy Notice explains in detail the types of personal data we may collect about you when you interact with us. It also explains how we’ll store and handle that data, and keep it safe.

When do I collect your personal data?

- When you visit my website, and use your account to buy products online or on the phone.
- When you make an online purchase and check out as a guest (in which case we just collect transaction-based data).
- When you create an account with us.
- When you purchase a product by phone but don’t have (or don’t use) an account.
- When you sign up to my newsletter.
- When you contact me by any means with queries, complaints etc.

What sort of personal data do I collect?

- If you have an account with us: Your name, billing/delivery address, orders and receipts, email and telephone number.

- If you make an order: Your name, email, phone number, delivery and billing address
- Details of your interactions with me online and email
- Your social media username, if you interact with me through those channels, to help me respond to your comments, questions or feedback.

What is the legal basis for processing the data?

The law on data protection sets out a number of different reasons for which a company may collect and process your personal data, including:

Contractual obligations
In certain circumstances, I need your personal data to comply with our contractual obligations. For example: When you make an order I will collect your address details to deliver your edition, and pass them to our courier.Legitimate interest
In specific situations, I require your data to pursue our legitimate interests in a way which might reasonably be expected as part of running my business and which does not materially impact your rights, freedom or interests. For example: I may use your purchase history to send you or make available personalised offers.

How will I use your personal data and why

To process any orders that you make online or over the phone. If I don’t collect your personal data during checkout, I won’t be able to process your order!
I keep your details in order to fulfil any contractual obligations  as well as allowing me to retain an record of provenance of the artwork in the future.
To respond to your queries. I may also keep a record of these to inform any future communication with me and to demonstrate how I communicated with you throughout.  I do this on the basis of my contractual obligations to you, my legal obligations and my legitimate interests in providing you with the best service and understanding how I can improve my service based on your experience.

Will the data be shared with any third parties?

Delivery Couriers

To fulfil your order, I share you name, contact details, delivery address and order information with delivery couriers.

Framers If you request your edition to be sent to a framer, I share your name, contact details, delivery address and order information with them.Payment Processors (Pay Pal)I use a third party payment processor to handle your payment information securely for orders online and over the phone.Direct marketing companies (Mailchimp):

Who help me manage my email communications with you, we share your name and email address.

We provide only the information they need to perform their specific services.
They may only use your data for the exact purposes we specify in our contract with them.
If we stop using their services, any of your data held by them will either be deleted or rendered anonymous.

How long will the data be stored for?

I keep an archive of orders to maintain a record of art work provenance. This information is confidential and not shared with any other party once the order has been fulfilled. Details kept are order number, name, address and contact details.

Keeping this data allows me to help customers who need information about their order and artwork in the future, for example if they need to know which edition number they received in a past order, or a copy of a invoice. Information is only shared once the identity of the customer has been verified.

When you consent to receive communications, we will keep your data until you unsubscribe.

How we protect your personal data

I treat your data with the utmost care and take all appropriate steps to protect it.

Access to your personal data is password-protected, and sensitive data such as payment card information is secured to ensure it is protected.

Your personal data protection rights

You have the right to request:

- Access to the personal data I hold about you, free of charge.
- The correction of your personal data when incorrect, out of date or incomplete.
- That I stop using your personal data for direct marketing.

Your right to withdraw consent:

Whenever you have given me your consent to use your personal data, you have the right to change your mind at any time and withdraw that consent.

Checking your identity:

To protect the confidentiality of your information, I will ask you to verify your identity before proceeding with any request you make under this Privacy Notice.
